Really good thin crust pizza. Old school vibe. Wish they had salad, but I understand their decision to stick with what's made this place a classic since the 1950's. We'll be back.
This pizza is different, and you must try it, some people may not like it, but it has its own special flavorings, especially when ordered everything but anchovies and crispy or well done crust, been eating it since I was 7 years old I am 61 and still rarely go more than a month without,
They do 1 thing and they do it well. Don't expect anything else and bring your cash! They don't even have menus because they only make pizza and have about 5 toppings. Their pizza is a little unique with the crust and sauce. But it's their way. It's very good and we'd go again but it does bother me that in 2024 places are refusing to accept plastic as payment. There is an ATM but that's a hassle. I wish they would take card. Other than that I can accept their stringent menu!
It's Fricanos....what more do you need to know. One of a kind. Fantastic. The best. Buy enough so you can eat it cold for breakfast.
Atmosphere was laid back and the staff was friendly. Ordered a sausage and pepperoni which came out very fast. The pizza was hot and fresh
After reading Brian E's response in regard to Fricanos Too, his review made me want to see how bad the pizza was there. Thank goodness I was proven wrong! I enjoyed the pizza immensely. We ordered a sausage and a pepperoni as take-out. Both pizzas came on old-school card board trays, slid into paper bags. The pizza was very hot and super fresh and smelled delicious. Apparently they make their own sausage in house and the pepperoni was very good as well. Fricanos only offers one size but seems to excel in what they do offer. It's only a cash place, but that makes the experience all the more enjoyable. They only have a limited amount of toppings, but sometimes less is more. And in this case it works well for Fricanos pizza. At the end of the day, Fricanos is a great little pizza spot that does a great job in producing a simple product. Fresh, simple and easy to enjoy. It's sad that Brian E couldn't realize that. If he doesn't like the pizza maybe next time he should try a salad instead.
